New to me truck

120$ leftover from the welder got me 25' of copper line, new flex line, fittings, and all the tools to run them. Got the main one ran today and the flex line on. Need to grab a bolt for the flex line to run the lines on the axle and i will probably throw the tank on there tomorrow so i can start on the fuel lines. It took me 2 hours to get this damn tank 1/2 way clean. The oil residue was caked on worse then the frame.

Tank mocked up. Still need to get bolts for that and the Y for the brakes. Started on some wireing. Gotta look at manual for anymore. Also have to start fuel lines here, not looking forward to those, seem more complex then the wireing. I also noticed i think im missing the breather for the tank and i can't find it so that might be a trip to the junkyard. Gotta start working on other things here though unfortunitly. I have 4 customers weedeaters and my interceptor that needs put back together

Gotta look at the manual to see which is the ground and which is the positive for the sending unit

The Truck mechanic at work was nice enough to show me how to mount tires correctly, then he realized i was putting 10" tires on a 12" rim and out came the starting fluid :). Anyways thats what i got accomplished today, i still need to shine them all up and get them balanced before i put them on though

Got to love the pyro mounting method. I also discovered that the hair on the back of you hands/forearms grows back pretty fast.

:fingerscrossed: I think we came to an understanding on the title. I'll be able to get plates for it when im ready. I did run the feed line for tank #1 today and 1/2 of the lines for tank #2. Should be able to run returns tomorrow

Fuel lines ran, Lost the damn plastic insert for the return line and according to the interwebs they don't exist . So after i track that down i need to buy a throttle cable, throw gas in her and check for no leaks before i put new shocks and throw the bed back on

Its on 4's again everybody!!. Got the drums in and put the wheels on. Also got 2 different throttle cables to play with now to get one to work. Tomorrow i should be getting shocks and bumpstops then i can see if i can get the ol girl to run
