New Years Weekend in Spangler

Thanks CW. I need to update this with that last ride of the week. I have a few pictures to go through, so stay tuned.....

OK, I have some time before I need to get looked in a conference room for the next 2 days.
So the last day, we decided on a Randsburg run. I drove my dad in the Cat and the group took a bunch of different options at getting there.
Here is the crew eating.
Rack, CDA Sr and Mrs. Rack hanging out in town.
that is a sweet helmet you have there Mrs. Rack. 
CDA Sr looking at all the bikes everywhere.
And they were everywhere.
I think we parked over here.....Oh, there is the Orange flag sticking up to the left in the back of the lot...
OK, let's load up and get out of here. Rack says, "Let's take a different way home. We will head across the valley and up Mormon Gulch."

Stay Tuned.....So we head out of town and across the valley, pass the air strip (sorry, I did not take a pic of the air strip) and into the canyon. We come to our first obsticle and I hand the camera to Rack to grab some shots from here on out.
Let's do some light rock crawling.

OK, here is the last set that I have on this trek.
Check out the Suspension on this bad boy.
CDA Jr fell down in front of us, so we ran him over..
OK we are just about out of the rocks and off to another canyon.
This looks like a fun section.

We got up on top of the ridge, put the camera away and headed back to camp. We cooked up a Tri-Tip on the BBQ at the CDA compound and had a great time around the fire bringing in the new year. Sorry I did not get any pics of the New Year celebration in camp, but we had a great time.
Cannot wait to do it all again.
