Oh Im sorry Trav...didnt you hear? They dont allow Orange bikes up there.

Seriously....I cant wait to ride up there with you and both of our new bikes. Well, sort of new (mine) My rides arnt exactly like Dan's. Im a little slower and like to take breaks to smell flowers, take pics and whatever else moves me:lol:

im not that in shape or fast myself ... i enjoy the ride's i ride... sure i like to get on it and push my own limits a little but i jsut enjoy new rides all together.. its not a race for me :thumb: speaking of flowers tho OW is starting to bloom right now.. its really pretty out there this time of year

LPNF probably wont open till May. Geek will let us know:thumb:
You can always ride ahead if you want to hammer. I have never rode a 450 up there.

I LOVE wild flowers and riding near them.

You need to get the Round Up out and spray, that will be a huge fire hazard this summer :prof:

that was a few years ago and was after the fires already came through... i think thats part of why they bloomed for those two years. i dont know but i do spend a few hundred bucks a year having fire hazard bushes removed. my house caught fire from the 03 socal wildfires and its something i take seriously...

funny to i was just telling the wife last night i need to call my guy.

Aunt Bee, call the man, just call the man! :P

ok so i got my JD jet kit today. not 100% on which way i should go... should i copy what this guy did ? http://www.easterndirt.com/?p=7004 which says this .. Chad says the 530 comes jetted ridiculously lean from the factory with the main set at 180, the pilot set at 48, the leak jet at 40, and the needle 3rd from the top. To liven things up, he changed these to 190 for the main, left the pilot at 48 and changed to leak jet to 35. He also moved the needle clip from the 3rd position to 4th from the top. Stock position for the fuel/air screw is 1 ¾ out, this was changed to 2 ¼.

reading the directions that came with the kit it says i should use the blue needle but 3rd from top and that if i haven't disconnected emission vacuum lines to leave the stock #48 pilot. does removing the catcher thing at the bottom considred disconnecting the vacuum lines?
