South The Official 2013 DBA T-DAY Planning Thread

No offense to Timoyz here, but it is no secret that I don't care for miles of deep sand, therefore, I would rather not go to JV. I know that it is not all sand, but there is plenty of it than those other places. Just my $.02.

That goes to show how diverse JV is... cause I think of it as mostly open desert and ROCKS, ROCKS ROCKS.

EVIL!!!!

I take these guys up Rattle Snake one time, and I've been labeled evil sand dude, and JV is the evil sand place.:smirk:
I guess it isn't fair after one time out there is it? But we know you and Rolls love for sand that much precedes any of that. How many issues and get offs have you had?:poke::busted::cheers:.

When you went up Rattlesnake, did you then make a left and go through the hills up there, past Willie Boys Grave, and come back down through Landers? Not that I am asking if you went into the Wilderness, just if you went that way, much more fun than going back down Rattlesnake.

No, we went through a residential area (a couple blocks)...... to hook up with another trail that took us to the backside of P & H's... then through Landers, Giant Rock on the way back...

I would never go in to a Wilderness area.:naughty: Oh, and that uphill right next to the grave is a sumbish ain't it. My usual trip up RS, is a ending at Pappy & Harriets. Then on down to Heros for gas, then back to JV with a stop at Giant Rock.

to be fair tho rattlesnake is one hell of a fun wash.... i cant even imagine what they would call tim if he took them into Avalanche like he did me
