Can you patch a hole in a head pipe?

I once went to I think it was the Motorcycle Show where I found this two sided tape that would stick to almost anything and was heat resistant. Cool stuff. Not sure what it was, perhaps silicon tape? Not sure what they called it but it was some great stuff Id like to have.

Silicone tape will only bond to itself, but you can use it to wrap about anything.

I think that might have been what it was. At the time I got the impression it wasnt sold at the hardware store. Like it was something new and different.

So, what has happened with this project? :noidea: If you give the JB Weld a shot and it does not work you can grind it off and then have it welded.
