I kind of noticed that too guys but they started its own thread in the CA section. So lets :bump: this and get :focus:. I think this ride should be one that EVERYONE can ride if they choose. So the location should allow red/green sticker and plated bikes. Anyone have any good location recommendations that allow it? Only places I know of that would allow and accommodate everyone are here in Socal if the others don't mind driving.

 With switchbacks, ledges and 30 guys filed in on a single track? :hyper: Count me in...

 Yea that would make for some interesting time. How about the trip be held at Hungry Valley OHV...aka Gorman. It's all around a good spot. It's at a decent elevation so temps are way more stable than inland heat. It has PLENTY of great staging/camping areas to accommodate a group of our size. Plus it's VERY easy to get to and for vehicles to tow trailers into. Also located in LA county so those who choose to not stay over night can make a day trip out of it. It has trails for everyone skill levels PLUS it has a motocross track for those of you guys who are into that AND it connects to LPNF for those who wish to ride beyond the gates and challenge yourselves. What do you guys think?

whatever works. I'll do a day trip. Gorman is a 45 min drive for me.

I was liking the congo line last time and using Rez as traction in the rocks. As for late Oct. I'm out. Told yah, I am on-call for the last two weeks so the "other" ride might be what I do. Still on a fence...

I'll just throw this out there... October & November is actually the most pleasing time of year for all outdoor activities here in the high desert aka Mojave.

I have several acres, about 10 miles south of Slash-X Café. We have created a private camping area here exclusively for my friends & family. It will accommodate about 10-15 maybe 20 full size trucks/toy haulers. And tons more room for truck and tent campers. I have potable water and lighting out there too. There is even an upscale outhouse (lights, power for your blow drier, running water, toilet and shower).

We are having our annual riding event for the first time HERE the weekend of Nov 3-4. You guys are all welcome to come ride with us whether you wanna make this the West Coast Event or just another riding trip individually.

I ride from my house through Stoddard Valley, Stoddard Wells OHV, The Ord Mountains & Johnson Valley. You can even Green/Red sticker most of this from my place. Longer rides that should be on plated bikes include Calico and Rainbow Basin about 25 miles to the north via highway or dirt. Big Bear is a nice 30 mile dual sport ride south... or a fun dirt ride up through Rattlesnake Canyon.

We call the place CAMP RIDERS aka BOLT Ranch. It's my home and a 10 year dream being realized to live, work and play in the middle of dirt bike heaven. You will never find open invitations to my home on TT, ADV or any other forums I frequent. But you guys seem to be a good group. And even though I only know a few of you personally I hope to meet & ride with many of you in the near future.

Anyway, the invite is there... come as a group... or individuals... or tell me to F-OFF.
