 You 2 just wait until you see the video.
Looks like he was just trying to get out of the wind for a little nap in the shade.:lol:
:thumb: Yeah no kidding I sure could have used a nap right there.:P

 No I saw it alright, it was my first ride in the dez and I was still trying to do away with my moto habits. I'd never known that a rear brake exists on these bikes. :smirk:

I don't think James is used to using brakes...he usually lets the engine do all the braking. :prof:
That and I usually only use the front brake, better stopping power, however not in the sand/desert. :smirk: Actually it does stop you pretty quick, when you hit the ground. :P

I got this one on video, but not the next one, which was even funnier. Short version, I was climbing a hill and then decided to get pretty intimate  with a boulder. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed that I wasn't recording. :( If I remember right yama_dawgg got some aftermath photos though. :thumb:

James, too bad I didn't get a chance to meet you, but I am glad you got out here to do some desert riding. Hopefully next time the weather is a little better.
As for the dirt nap photo, how can you not miss a four foot tall boulder? Even I could miss something like that.
I am sure that photo will be posted many times in the future.
That's why I hide the cameras of people I ride with, no photographic evidence of my many goof ups.

Here James is after he got up form the picture pose. He was up and on his feet by the time I got there for that last photo. He was kind enough to lay down for me to snap a photo of his "dirt nap".

Captain Pumpknis CRF 230 took a beating from James this trip. That bike has NEVER been on the ground this much.

My son has a few pics from his camera of this crash that he will post later. :thumb:
