for about 13-14 you could have a new motor in that bike. (if he takes 6) I do like the steel frame better than the aluminum.

Nope, triple change and doable for pretty cheep if you hit fleabay. Steering pin change I think. Lots of guys do it. Say the bikes turn on a dime.

Although TT is a shit house for the most part, the Yamaha/2 stroke has a pin at the top and loads of info on making the bikes zing, turn, spin, and lots, lots of great guys to help.
