Went and got My frame paint this weekend, along with thinner, waterpump bearings, and my seal-head. Got home tonight and had intentions of tearing the shock apart and finishing up the motor, but only got the motor done.
So i went and did the motor first. This was a little over-kill for just water-pump bearings because i could have easily drove them in but doing the "sweating" method made it that much easier.
Gotta have the right tools:
heheh FIRE FIRE!
So i got that all heated up and then i could just tap the bearing in with a socket and hammer with almost no effort
Next was the bearing that goes in the case

Same process with that, tapped right in
Now that i got the 20$ worth of bearings in, time to put the 20$ worth of seals in

I just coated the wall and the seals with a little vasoline so they slide and don't rip and they popped right in, used a socket to get them all the way seated

And i figured it would be a good idea to throw on the propeller shaft, you know, just for sh*ts and gigs
Then i put on the side cover, it gave me a little trouble with trying to get the waterpump, kickstart, and PV shaft all lined up but i got it
