All It's a distance ride. :bigtank:

I may change plans and go up on Sunday and if you are planning on being at the Husky around 11:00 I will plan on meeting with you guys to say  and maybe ride part way to Inscription. I will confirm this before hand.
I still have it, we should be getting to the Husky around 11:00, if you should be around. It also might seem like a lot of miles, but they click by pretty fast, when you spend most of the day in 5th gear.:ride:

That is how I do it. Talk big and make excuses as to not embarrass myself..:smirk:

You might want to change your gearing Rack, from your 10/60 to maybe 10/59 so you can take note of my technique.:prof:

Tim, just say you are not going so Rack will stay home and then come on out and we will get some good rides in....:P

Only if you are going to run to Slash X and back. I believe Rack is stalking about hitting the Husky Monument and back, maybe a 60 - 70 mile round trip from Spangler.

I'm talking about all the way to slash x and back to Spangler. Is it doable in a day? Where is inscription from husky monument?

Inscription is not too far from the Husky although I have never done it. I tried to go to the Husky once from Inscription but not knowing all the trails then it was kind of hard to know the correct way. I would do better going from the Husky since I know that area well and know the trail heading to that direction, or unless I were to follow Tim who knows his way everywhere. :thumb:

Don't hold me to 11:00. It all depends on the group size, and who is in the group.:smirk:

That would be a great, all day ride. I think it would be about 75 to 80 from Spangler, to gas in Barstow, then another of the same to Hinkley, so it would be doable. Total mileage might be around 200+, so I'm not sure how many takers we would have.

To the East.:moon:

There are multiple trails out there, that all connect to each other. I'm getting better, but I still get lost out there.:bonk: From the Husky there is a 12 mile trail to Inscription, and a 16 mile trail that I seem to always end up taking.

For the 3rd time, you'll be fine with one, and I thought you said you already had one.:noidea:

I had a liter bottle that must have been tossed...I have 1 64 oz bottle (1/2 gal...) are you SURE it'll be enough?...3rd time....

In that case I'm in...got to make sure ED is still in working order. :thumb:

No it will not be enough. You need to carry 2 prestone antifreeze bottles (1 gallon each), one on each hip. That might get you to the first gas stop....:thumb::smirk:

Yes, for the 4th time.:smirk: I can spare some as I should have a extra gallon, and if there is a problem it will be on the 20 mile long, straight road into the station. To ride down and fill up, then come back to dispurse to who needs it, will be easy if there is some sort of container at the empty bike.:thumb:

If he does bring the 2 gallon bottles, I was a boy scout, I know a knot that we could tie them to his neck with.

Believe me, I was considering it......
Hey I was there once. Pre-running in Mexico on a KX250, IMS 3.3 dez tank, needed to run 130 miles with no fuel stops. I had 2 prestone bottles hanging off my fanny pack on each hip. Talk about messed up weight ratio. I came into a corner and the weight carried me right over the top of the berm.
