Yes, I have one and he has saved me more then once! He is great and a former baseball player. Doesnt lecture me on motorcycles. He is expensive though and my Ins. doesnt cover it. How stupid! I have hobbled in to his office in tears more then once. Im making progress slowly. Im doing all he has told me to do. Most important I have got to stop lifting with my back

Thankfully, I'm not in a body cast. I have a brace to wear when I'm not lying down. It helps to keep me from bending and twisting too much. More than anything, it just reminds to not bend, twist, or lift. I don't have to wear it while sleeping. I just have to be careful when rolling over so as not to twist the body. Even without the brace, sleeping is very uncomfortable.

Yeah...sounds like you need to be very careful not to twist the body, but perhaps twist something else?

I'm hoping that by the end of this coming season I can do so some easy riding. I'll be happy just to ride on a dirt road.
What's weird about the metal detector thing is how inconsistent they seem to be. I have a plate and 6 screws in my left wrist, and 16 screws in the left elbow. When going to airports or the courthouse , it seems like I only set off the alarm about half the time. I expect the extra hardware to put me over the top.

With all that crap in your body you are lucky to even have a life. Shit bro I didn't know you were that full of screws. All I can say is take it easy and ease yourself back in to riding.

Stainless steel doesn't set off the metal detectors right? I'm pretty sure that that's what they typically use.
I haven't set off any alarms yet, but they do tend to take longer on the full body scans, compared to the other guys. That might have something to do with my rockin bod though.
