RM250 Coach Project 96 RM250

Received my powervalve bearings after almost 4 weeks of waiting. Got a little more work to do to tidy up the engine and it will be ready to drop in the frame. Then it'll be taking everything apart, lubing up/replacing swing arm, wheel, and steering bearings. Then new tires, pads, brake fluid, and fork oil and I think it will be ready. I'm just knocking tasks off one at a time. Hopefully have it ready soon.

I made some more progress! Got the power valves fully assembled, found some missing bolts, and got the engine sitting in the frame. This feels like a HUGE milestone. I'm just picking away at it, as I get motivation to do so. Next is gonna be swing arm and linkage! Stay tuned.

Made some progress on my bike, just a little. Got the front brakes sorted, got a new front tire installed, and my buddy was helping me with rear linkage, most of the bearings were good, but the smallest joint on the linkage appeared to be missing a needle, and it tore up the rest of the needles so I'll need to replace that. And of course, pics of the 88 125 just because.

A little closer still! But I think I have the clutch cable and throttle cable ran incorrectly so I will need to move them again. I need to get a needle for my carb because I have 3 carbs and no needles for some reason..but we press on!

Love them RM’s great job on your project Brian.

So I'm stuck on the rm, I have 2 blind bearings I need to pull in the right case cover. It's bearing number 23, there are 2 at the front of the case cover. Any advice? I don't have a blind bearing puller, and the ID of the bearing is ~1/4"
