4 Stroke CDA Racing Acquires A New Scooter!

After this weekend, I will be re-gearing. 14/52 is not going to work for me. Will start with 14/50 and see how that works out.
Its a 5 speed I assume. I'm not sure what the internal gear ratios are...... my 200exc and 650r have both been 14:48 stock.

Correct on the 5 speed. I know a couple guys that bought 450sxf and put a 6th gear in the trans. I am not going to do that. The 450 i rode a couple weeks back was geared at 14/52 and though it was fast, it was not geared right for what I ride and like. 14/50 will give me better use of 2nd and 3rd and allow a little more up top for the open valleys...

Yeah, here, woods bikes only need to go ~30mph, haha. I like the 650r at the 14:48, because I can crawl, cruise at 60 all day, and tap out at ~100 on the road.

That is the gearing on the TTR 14/48, was 15/45 which is un-usable in the dez. I can do the same on the gearing now. Cruise slow, and still see triple digits...
