I'm gonna upholster the seat today too. Was gonna go black but I have some red vinyl that I'm gonna use. It'll be a nice accent. I'll see if I can get the reeds checked out and get the seat taken care of today.

Yeah but it wasn't much work. 6nuts and it was off. Here's a shot of the reeds.
I took the plates apart and cleaned em up. Not chipping or pitting. They sat flush on the valve block and they were good to go.

The piston wasn't in excellent condition. Just deposit build up. Rings were nice and in like new condition.
Crankcase was nice and clean too. I was surprised how it looked inside
There's the finished product. I still have to tune the Carb. But overall the bike rode well.

Thanks guys. With your help and my hands. It got up and running. Gonna ride it for a while and try to sell it. So I can get myself a newer bike.
lol. I like the ban comments. I love the bike and its more than I need but I know I'll want another one. Something I can find parts for at a local shop. And an electric start. Kick start isn't bad. Unless I can work a straight trade with a vintage enthusiast. I'm gonna hold onto this one.Did you say sell it....................
