I posted a question about jetting not too long ago, and James gave me 2 links to the best jetting info I've ever read :thumb: <br>
its in the Honda section.. lemme know if you can't find it and ill get an link for you in the morning.. I gotta get to sleep.. almost done hanging and finishing a pretty big bar/ club some friends mine bought. get paid for it Monday, and I can order everything I need for my cr! :D
Nnnnnice dude! Yeah if you could shoot me the link I would be eternally grateful. I'll take a look over on the Honda forum to see if I can find it. Thanks for the help and support for sure!

Idle adjustment is on the left side... The pilot screw is on the right. Thats the only adjustment screws you will have.

Also.. If you haven't checked the reeds.. I would pull them out and make sure they are good... You don't want them chipping and foul up the whole engine

Hmmmm. Now the reeds I did not check. Is there a PDF file somewhere that you know of? So I can look up where they are so I can pull em out and check?

I have this explosion but I can't really tell where the reeds are

Haha...

On most bikes there is like a whole block that comes out.. And you hold them up to the light..and make sure light cannot shine through them.. Thats how you test them.

You can tell by looking at my old ones.. they are bad... But uoi can look through the back of the block (facing down there in the picture) ... And hold the front towards lights.. And if you can see light shinging through the back.. Your reeds are bad.

I know they're 2 different models but that looks nothing like what I've seen. Well my ride is a fossil :D. I'll take the Carb apart again tomorrow and snap a few pics for the thread. I sure hope the reeds aren't bad. I can't buy any parts for this thing. It'll have to be the whole Carb.

Nah... motosport has those reeds... I showed you the link... There not in the carb... They will be mount between the carb and the engine somewhere.... On motosport.com they are listed in the cylinder section.

OK that's good to know. I was thinking it was Carb related. I'll remove the Carb and look into the cylinder for an up close and personal conversation. :)

thats where you'll find the reeds. 4 bolts hold the block to the cylinder, pull it off, hold it up and look through it. they should lay flat and tight against the cage.. if you see any light, they need replaced. and check to see if dg makes a pipe and silencer for it.. I think they do
