Memorial Weekend Ride Photos

Not a post whore anymore, no just a pose whore or troll. Do you ride anymore? You are riding as much as WG, only he has an excuse.

Since you asked I'll admit...NO, not much if at all... I don't go out on my own, have relyed mainly on any trips scheduled with you guys except for if those with my immediate group that happen to be riding (Holidays only and that's hit and miss like this past weekend). Too leaky a vessel to put much faith in so I wait to see if any rides are happening with DBA...

So why label me a troll... :noidea: because I liek to be involved in conversations about somethign I like to do but don't do much of? Sorry if I'm sounding too sensitive but you kind of hit a nerve with this..... :finger: there.... now I feel better, when are we doign lunch again!? :smirk:

:poke: Ok, sorry I hit a nerve, I'll say I am sorry with :moon: does that make you feel better? Made me feel better. :smirk: lunch, why yes, I would love to do lunch. I am always open for a lunch so you need to pick the day, my treat I think to. So, how about Bobs big boy for an old fashion burger and fries? Or you can pick the place too. :pout: that's how I feel realy for striking a nerve. Makes you feel better my bike is still in the shop and I didn't ride this weekend, even around the block.

So, while you two get a room, :focus:

My RR will start at the beginning of the week, with a excellent forecast for the 3 day weekend, I put the new MH repairs in high gear. It was Wednesday night when I knew I'd make it, and out went the PMseseses, and thread teasers. https://www.dirtbikeaddicts.com/threads/memorial-day-plans.4841/page-5#post-98479
The wind was showing it's ugly self for Friday, so the plan was set to leave at 5:00 on Saturday. It's a 90 minute drive in the pick up to the area, so I figured another hour in the new MH. Well, with topping out to 20MPH on any sort of grade, we pulled into camp a little before 9:00. :picard: to the power of 3.

And the problems continue, Sawyer telling me his bike is leaking gas.

So while Rolls does final adjustments, and A2 waits patiently,

I hit the spare carb bag, and switched the inlet. Catastrophe averted.

Nice job. I really like it up at CC but I have not been there for a year or so. The last I heard was that they were closing some of it off because of a weed. :noidea: What ever happened to that BS? I have failed in the riding also as I have not been on the bike since Pres Day weekend. You hear that Rez, you are not alone.

With rich history of gold mining in the area, Sawyer did a little prospecting himself.
CC Memorial Day 2012 026.JPG

Next stop was the Kenny place, where Travs sticker is still there.
CC Memorial Day 2012 027.JPG

Sawyer freaking out on the spider.
CC Memorial Day 2012 029.JPG

It was a gnarly web.
CC Memorial Day 2012 033.JPG

After checking out the old prospectors place we hit it back to the MH for some grub and a rest. While getting ready to head out, Sawyer decided to stay back, and the 3 old farts went solo to Lake Dolores. Only 2 shots from that ride.

Rolls crossing Coyote Lake.
CC Memorial Day 2012 038.JPG

Nothing from the water park, but the next stop was at the Star Bright mine.
CC Memorial Day 2012 039.JPG

After that the camera was put away for the day, and night time festivities began. Beverages, dinner, and a fire.

The next day came and the wind was gone. Also leaving was A2.

It 's 40 miles from the 14 and 58, to the FF. It's 80 miles from the 14 and the 58, to where we camp. That's 40 miles more.:noidea: We don't camp at the water park.

Edit; And on rainy days when Garlock Road is closed. The detour out the 58 to the 395, would make it just about the same mileage.:prof:

My guess is I would have to get out of 2bnd gear to ride this area with you :panic: :faint:
