Weathergeek's new adventure: J & B's Grill and BBQ in Frazier Park

He'd better start riding more, need something to burn off all the extra calories he'll intake thanks to all the "taste testing". :smirk:
not when he works a full time job during the week, helps run his wife's store and now a Grill. No time to ride.

There is almost always time to ride. You have to remember where the Geek lives. Riding is close by. Now the form that riding takes might have to change. All day rides can be tough when you are super busy, but that doesn't mean a quickie two hour early morning ride is impossible. Now Geek if you had a plated bike it can open all kinds of possibilities. With the coin you will make assuming a successful start, just pay with cash.

In the summer I do this all the time and I can do a 50 miler and be back by 10am.

you should do a secret menu kinda like in n out has or maybe if they come in and if they say something like "gimme the question" you have some kind of dirtbike related trivia and if they can answer it they get a free side or something. nothing big or crazy but little insider things like that will make people talk about your establishment giving you that word of mouth.

It could be anything you guys wanted. just make it fun :thumb:

You don't know about J & B's secret menu?
I mean, there is no secret menu, yeah, that's what I meant.

Opening weekend tomorrow, good luck Geek, I'd say let us know how it went, but you will probably be too beat to do anything 'cept go home and sleep.

I always thought it would be cool to have a place where people could ride to and hang out and eat, drink and shoot the shit. I even thought about a acre in Cal City and make it a compound that when open, you roll up and can get cold drinks, shade, play horseshoes etc. and just hang out for a while. Of course I'd need to have a steel bunker for the stuff to be locked up in when it's not open, and a barb wired fence around it which would be ugly but, it could be a really cool/fun casual unregulated destination to ride to. I like riding to the husky monument etc... but something new to ride to out there would be nice. Good luck Geek!! I bet you are so busy right this second. Is this rain down here snow up there today?

The Castle in Joshua Tree area, closed for right now but will be reopened soon I hope. Cool place not in the middle of no place but cool to ride to on any rig. Last I hear was a ex-"dancing lady" ehum.. bought it and was waiting on her liquor license.

Ya but do you need a plate to get to it? I want a plated bike, like NOW!
