On the fly

I love the Eastern Sierras all the way from Little Lake area on up. I go up there every year to get out of the city and do some fishing, hiking and anything else that comes to mind. You are lucky as you got to continue all the way up to Truckee and beyond. The whole area is just plain beautiful. :thumb: Nice RR you are sending.

Sun, Im sorry that I was delinquent in getting back to you. I do hope that you had, and have had, will have a good time on your adventure. I did get my shock back in time to have it mounted to ride today!. But my boys wanted to go camping this last weekend so.......................... thats what we did. However I did get my shock mounted this afternoon. I just need to get the sag set and Im ready to hit the trails.

Haha love that popcorn dude Rolls, what a pig he is! No worries on hijacking because Im certainly not posting enough:lol:
And it's ok Smoke, I understand. We rode Pine Nuts Sunday. Yesterday from about 5-9pm we rode Hungry Valley and some of Moonrocks. I smashed my head pipe in going down a ravine sort of water fall:cry: I now have a radiator leak and an oil leak:rolleyes: but it least my body is still ok. My game was off yesterday plus Im not near the rider the guy is leading. After hearing a few others talk about the stuff he dragged me on ( I was already pretty beat) I feel a little better about wussing out in a couple of sections and my little :crash:
This "on the fly" stuff is hard to do. Im trying to load on Vimeo here at Starbucks and I just dont have enough time. The last couple of loads didnt complete. It said something went wrong. I could jump ahead and share photos but I thought it would be nice to keep things in order. Im thinking I may not post much more after today unless there is wifi at the condo in Mammoth. Im going to meet up with my family at a condo for Thursday night. Then camping more with other friends fri-mon.. Today I will be going to Twin Lakes to meet up with my friend coming from San Jose in her camper. Thunderstorms and even some snow is in the Mammoth forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, or so Ive been told. It will make for an interesting next couple of days as I sit here wearing shorts. It has been a fun and exciting trip with a touch of sadness for my friend's Grandmother who passed away the night before I got here. I was hoping to give her a hug and say goodbye to her before she passed on. I have known her for 30 years. Hope you all have a great day and sorry to let you down on my attempt at a "on the fly" RR.
