Insanity by Beach Body...

alright Day 26 was awesome for once! didn't feel bad the whole time, did a little walking around but not much. kinda suprised how well it went going off of what i ate today (pizza buffet and then taco truck tacos) and only getting about half the water i've been trying to. Oh well what works works!

ok well i took the weekend off again (Days 27 and 28, 28 is normal off day) This week is all the same routine and is meant to be a recovery week but it hurts just as good if not better! lol... the last few execises are all from a squat position and all arm movements to work your shoulders like crazy and it burns!

Day 30!!! Same routine as last night and i caught at the beginning he said "if you feel sore after this exercise your pushing to hard" well... to be quite honest this is the first routine where i've been sore! oh well 4 more days of the same routine then i get into the maximum workouts!

crap... ok well day 31 we had company show up from out of town at 9 and visit till midnight in the living room where i workout, and i had to get up at 7am this morning to take my gma to the doctors an hour away so yup no working out. then a couple hours ago i attempted a lap on my track, by attempt i mean my front end slid out cause of the mud and i tore a tendon in the back of my forearm (same arm that has the broken wrist too) its pretty bad... i can't lift hardly anything at all and it even hurts to type.

Well I'm no longer insane... Watched the second months videos and they're to much for me with my fractured wrist. Gonna just lift weights and start running so I can get into shape for the 5k I wanna do in October

:thumb: I'd advise the elliptical machine over a treadmill or at least a combination of the two. The elliptical will tone your legs, thighs, and  arse like crazy. Plus the lower back also gets a workout.

If you're serious about this you should get a heart rate monitor as that's usually the best way to go about this. Go read up on training with heart rate for more info.

I use the Timex Ironman, which lets you save and store you workouts.

Here's one of my latest runs. The goal is to keep your heart rate in the correct zone. :thumb:

Thanks James what I'd really like is if they made something to tell you what pace your at... I know that's probably cheating during a race but since I'm doing 10min miles on the treadmil it would be cool to have something that would beep if I needed to speed up or slow down while street running.

Elliptical machines do give you a steps per minute readout.
