What did you do to your bike today?

Did a 45 mile ride this morning at silverwood with my brother. Did 2n17x for the first time, right now it's very rocky, filled with ruts and has tons of sand spots on the hill climbs. Loved it.

Notice where they parked their bikes to snap the shot... right in the middle of the freagin road... somethings never change.... :poke:............. :smirk:

Yes, we are waiting for our riding invites for that single track you speak of in AZ :D:poke::ride:

I will be there from 07-04 to 07-13, pic a date, give me a call, it's not that hard to do. I can put you both up for the night (s)... If you like it and would like to go on your own, I'll give you a key, have a map in the cupboard.

So that is what a friend/host acts like towards his riding buddies.

You already knew you were invited along time ago. :hug:By the way, you don't even need the key to get in your so crafty.:busted: I figured the boys would rather not break the law. :poke:

Are you going to get that bike plated? Bring it to AZ and you will have a plate and ID in 1/2 an hour at m v d. Then ride the rest of the day without a worry.... :thumb:

The skid plate worked great, the rocks bouncing off were music to my ears.

I also got a Camelback MULE 100oz backpack that I attached to my chest protector, it worked like a dream and saved me when I went down pretty hard on my shoulder. I had previously not worn the protector so that I could wear the pack, as they do not work well together. Glad I had it on, or I would have been in a world of hurt

Rode it, elsewhere I've mentioned that years ago a local vet let me race his YZ-F because all I had was an XR, well I ran into him today, we rode hard for about an hour and a half, a race witnessed only by trees. Its the first time this year I've ridden hard enough to start sweating. If I had someone like that to ride with every weekend, I would probably be 10x faster on race day.

He's headed to Ponca City here soon.

image.jpg Rode it yesterday with both of my girls together, first time I've been on a trail ride with both of em at the same time.special day for me, also my youngest stumbled on to a new trail that we took off on for miles, sometimes I'd sit back and watch em try to out do the other, pretty cool, anyways it was a new set of memories that I put in the bank, best part of being a dad.
