What did you do to your bike today?

pulled the rear shock off to have it rebuilt
Nice to see your garage is much the same as mine. The bike is the cleanest and most complete thing in there. I do have to ask, what is the black liquid in the green bottle on the floor next to the back tire?

thats brake fluid. Its an old mt dew bottle I drilled a hole through the lid on so I could bleed brakes the old fashioned way
 
Wow that fluid is toasted. You must go through pads a lot. Do you use the rear brakes only?
I go through a set of pads a year.

alot of the really dark stuff is from my dad's jeep, first time it was ever done was a couple years back and its an 87 :busted:

I use a lot of rear brake, but I use the front more, a little bit of front brake will help keep the front end planted in ruts.

I thought you only used engine braking :whistle:
