SideWinder is one of the oldest of all after market sprocket companies. TI-Molly is stronger than steel.
I posted pictures of my SideWinder stainless sprocket. That is 11yrs. old and has been on three of my CR500's. Why don't you post pictures of your sprocket when it turns 11yrs. old. I bet it will not last that long. You seem to be afraid to try new things. FYI. I am not. So I will buy the IRON MAN sprocket and test it out. I will post new and used pictures of it. For comparison sake. You talk a lot of hate for something you have never even read anything about. How many running hours? It stands I will never run the snake oil, you have not posted one independent test of the sprockets. Just a bunch of advertisements from them telling you its the best thing ever. They have a product to sell. The OEM sprockets on our IT400 are from 1978 since you wanna talk years

I have no idea how many total hours are on it. I believe by me telling you that I bought it in 2003 and for it being mounted on 3 different CR500's.. Should give you plenty of reason to be curious about the SideWinder. I also will tell you. I have used the Snake oil. It also works just fine. But, now I just use WD-40. Unless I have the cash to buy Maxima chain wax.

For the record, I have only probably worn out one set of sprockets, all the others got taken off for a gearing change, I've got tons of like new sprockets from various companies in my pile
The combo on my bike now will likely not get run to the end of its useful life as my time on the 250f is about 5 races away from over.

I wanted something that I could buy. That I could use on my other CR500's following 1998 CR500. I guess, if you like to buy only one brand bike. Weather it be CR, KX or any other brand. I would like to have at least one product I could switch from bike to bike. With out having to worry about how long it was going to last. At least one product I would not have to purchase for the new bike.

Here are pictures of my Ironman sprocket I bought back in June of 2010. I just took it off last week cause I wanted to run a 51 rear. I will be putting it back on for the SOTSNF dual sport ride coming up. I don't know if this is good or bad, it is what it is. it looks great to me...

My biggest fear with those sprockets is. I would be afraid to bang bars with someone and things get nasty. Or hit a rock and have that sprocket bend or snap. They look like they can not handle a beating very well. With out getting bent or snap.

Well, all I can attest to is I have gone through a couple of chain sliders and my Scotts shark fin looks like shit due to the physical abuse I put it through. You are from New York....you don't know what rocks are.
This was really nothing from my Saturday ride. A lot bigger stuff on the John Bull trail we were on than this, this was just a picture my friend took.
Now if your talking torque or other force issues, I can't speak to that, i just ride my bike.

I will make a deal with the both of you. When I purchase the Iron Man sprockets and post the proof that I had purchased it. Then the next time you need buy a sprocket for your bike. Yes, they are expensive but, I would ask of you to purchase a SideWinder TI-II sprocket for your bike. Post proof and then install it on your bike.Oh I believe you. On that.
