Front Tire

I run 15lbs in both the front and back, ultra HD tubes and Parker DT's front and back but switch out the front every now and then with the Pirelli XCMH. All tires DOT

Sounds like a pretty good endorsement. Funny though, I liked the older back tire pattern as it acted more like a "paddle" in the sandy areas of the desert. The center knobs were more spread out. Didn't do so well in the hard pack so it has been a trade off so overall it is prolly better.

I'v done some reading also and found that Palmer is for crap for just about everything:wave:

i have found the pirellis to work in most all conditions, they are a little stiff sidewalled, but they handle air downs well, i have had good luck with the scorpion pro fim front and mt-16 rear, the pro tends the chunk a little in the rocks but what doesnt?

Yeah, that's why I buy the tires that I buy though. I like the stiff side wall for the protection in the desert against pinch flats. I run ultra HD tubes, 15lbs. I guess for me I am willing to give up a bit of handling for a mental piece of mind against flats. I would hate for Mrs. ABC to have to change my tube while I sat in the shade. Not to say I wouldn't get over it, but in the moment it would be a little uncomfortable.
