What did you do to your bike today?

I did the annual cleaning / rebuild of the carb. But I can't rev the engine, or race down the street where I live, so no idea if I did it right. Did I leave out a part, put something in upside down, or???
Guess I will find out Saturday, my ride at The Rez might be all of ten feet...........

Cleaned it yesterday. It got dusty sitting in the back of the truck at MX practice for my son :smirk:

I changed the oil, put on new bars, and also did an all over inspection.

A buddy got some new Tag bars so he gave me his old Pro Taper Contour Carmichael bend bars. :ride:

These are about 1 1/2-2 inches lower than the Tag T2's that were originally on there, not sure what bend the T2's are. :noidea:

The Contour seemed to "fit" me better than the old T2's, however I'll have to wait until I hit the track to be sure.

I have those same grips

On another note, didn't do anything to my bike but did put a new bathroom faucet in my camper and cleaned it up a bit.

I went from the Pro Taper pillow tops

To the Rockstars

And now I'm going to try out the Renthal Diamonds

I found myself gripping to hard on those soft grips, which cramped the fingers and caused arm pump. :foul:
