Since it is already August, Thanksgiving will be here before you know it and I was wondering what people may be doing and where they are going. It seems Spangler is the destination as it is large and plenty of room for everyone, just not sure the exact location. Who is going for the weekend?

Ok, we are close enough for the first weather forecast of the beginning of the trip. Right now the next storm of some sort is forecast for next weekend with clearing by Sunday. This storm could be cold with possible snow in the dez which would be a very rare event for November. BUT, clearing and quick warming is forecast afterwards which would be perfect. A little moisture on the dry ground followed by warming temps. Obviously, being that it is this far out, it is all subject to change and I wll be checking it every couple days and will update accordingly. If it all works as planned, it should be great. Time will tell, so say your prayers.:ride::prof:

I thought you guys had the same weather year round? You know... Sunny with a chance of wildfires with possible earthquakes in the evening :lol:

Let's see...yesterday it was mostly sunny, had an earthquake in neighboring Moreno Valley (3.1...baby quake) but no fires...thank god :banana: ... I guess you're right! :thumb:
