we used to make plugs out of hammer handles. one of us saw it done on some race cars out of a hardened plastic. we ran out of plastic. a guy we knew that showed us how to make wine, and get scorpions to sting eachother, told us we could make them out of wood too and he suggested hard wood like hickory and put them on the lathe in woodshop. a man who knows what he did was worth listening to. also, it helped to drink some of the wine before you played with the scorpions. they could tell if you were nervous.

Yep, those are bent. Aluminum or steel?

Not sure... I should have gotten out my magnet... I quickly checked and they are Renthal Y790.

I think they are steel 7/8". I had some risers on my CR250 with Easton bars and I loved them. I'm going to give the CR High Bend bars a ride and see how they do.

My rear brake is mushy... It works OK but not great. I bled the line tonight and still wasn't better. I had this issue before with my front brakes on the CR250. I replaced caliper Pistons and seals and it solved the problem. Going the same route here on the YZ.

Remember, when going riser and hi bend, you might run out of cable and/or brake line. Just helped a guy over on TT with the same prob on a 250X. I told him the thing to do, he was able to get a 2002 YZ250 clutch cable and 16 WR450 brake line and make it work. This being a 125, I am not sure what to do on clutch cable, but the brake line will be the trick you need if you run out of length.

Good point. I didn't consider that issue. I may need to get standard height risers that accept the 1 1/8" fat bars. Hmmmm.... It's always something... Lol...
