Need help finding new bike!

Good thing you did before the mods took a look or you would have been removed by your ear like a bad boy in catholic school.

Thats why I didn't copy it. When I posted. Going to give you a chance to be smart, not smart ass...
Funny thing is, he did see it and he inbox'd me. But, I actually removed it before hand. :smirk:

I'll actually edit this post, and be the bigger man and step down from you obvious impression making of others over the internet. Now, I intend to get the 300 xc-w. Do you have any insight on that?

Holy crap......a seven cylabil word. That would make a game changing scrabble word.

Edit......hey you edited out that word? At least give it back to me so I can look it up whn I get home.

Do you mind giving any insight on that bike?

No I will not!

I don't own, will not own a KTM... Thats just me.. If I am going to buy Euro it will be Beta....

Now that Husky is owned by KTM, I might if I had the cash. But I'll keep my 2008 TE450, and my 12 RS520 fo my big 4T and all my Yz250 for my 2T.

Just did the WR transmission conversion 1-5 in one of my YZ250's and a Rekluse with an 18" rear and 14/48 gears. So, I am set on bikes. Some guys just do 3-5 because you have to grind the case for 1st.

I also have an option to get a yz250 2015 for the same price as the xc-w, but I have heard things that it's not worth it.

Thats a lie, they didn't change much again. Styling.... I prefer the older ones and trick it out to your liking.
I have about 6,500, 7,000 in my 02 and its street legal.

You can green sticker the 2002 in calif I do believe. Makes it appealing. The grind off for first wasn't much. Was it?

Hello, well today I am seeking some assistance in finding a new bike that will fit me good. I am 16, 186 LBS and about 6 foot. I currently only have a '09 CRF70 that I got back in '09 just for a starter. I have never rode clutch, but feel I can learn quite easily. I will mainly do trail riding and races with friends. I am looking for a bike that will fit me in size, but will have great speed and stay in my price range. I am okay with having the bike a little over sized, because I am still growing and want to have this bike for a while. These are a few bikes that I have found on Craigslist that I think fit what I am looking for. If you could help me figure out which would be best for what I am looking for, I would greatly appreciate it. Remember, I'd love to have it go extremely fast and good pick up. (Or, if you happen to find a better bike that fits me near the Maryland area, feel free to link me to that.)

I decided it was time that I checked up pulled everything together and search your numerous threads on bikes.
It's awesome that you are so into it that you must have an opinion on every bike that catches your eye. Every bike you have posted so far is a great choice for an experienced rider. Unfortunately you lack big bike experience. The crf70 you learned I. Has about 6hp. The bikes you are wanting to have your 1st off-road experience on are about 42hp. Now that's 7x the hp you are used to. Couple that with the clutch and much heavier machine and your 1st outting may not have the awesome results you desire. I suggest checking out the yammi TTR 230. It's 5spd manual with about 20hp that's easy to manage. You'll be able to hone your skills for the next year and you won't get easily bored. Just food for thought.

Thanks for this post, really appreciate it. Now, going to run up to the KTM dealership Saturday and the Yamaha dealership Sunday. Whatever I find to be a good deal, I may be taking.
