mixing gear oil??

If you have a good source on the oil you have been using, I would probably stick with it. I like the yamalube products too. They work well for me, and they are readily available. We got some real temperature swings here, and they don't separate like some others have in the past. None of the majors are going to steer you to something that is a bad product. None of them make their own either.
