:lol: I know right? Usually Rack's just bitching about the bitchers, however he's now become a bitcher himself. :shocked:

:stirthepot::smirk:

:lol: Good thing I wasn't there as you guys would've probably "nudged" me off one of those cliffs after 5 min of my bitching. :bonk:
I think it would have been more than a "nudge" :devil:

The step up, got the riders it did in the front, because all momentum was taken away by the guy coming down.:noidea: I stopped pretty far back, and I still had a hard time getting my speed up again.:devil:
True that, you need to short shift and get in 2nd to get on top of the loose dirt.

It is really loose and rocky right before. Momentum is definitely your friend.:prof:
Yes it was loose at the base and we stopped about 50 feet from the step-up and on an up hill, so getting going again was tough. I short shifted and grabbed 2nd so could get on top of the soil. I hit the ledge to the left and pop up it and off I went.:thumb:

That ledge was perfect!!! Now the cliff side root hang on to your nuts or die :panic: not so good for my :chicken::moon:

Man there is some serious whining going on in here. Maybe I should have ditched Rez :cry: and stayed with the group...:thinking: That root section looked like a 3rd or 4th gear section.:smirk: I was thinking "hey drop down to the right and pop up on the other side..Don't know until I see it. I rode Snowy when I was 12, that was like 70 years ago. I will have to go check it out again.

That little ledge that Revithead got stuck on was for a couple reasons. He did not get any momenum to hit it. Should have hit the left side. He was being polite to me since I was right next to him when he took off. I will just note that Rez cleaned that section better than half the group...go figure! :banana:....:P....:thumb:

As for the high speed across the desert.....Not boring if you are picking the right trails and running that speed. I will show you some trails that you can run high speed, but if your concentration drifts...........:wow: There is plenty of high speed super fun single track in the dez. I like the slow tight stuff as well, so bring it all on...:thumb: I have ridden in Rack's backyard and it is the same stuff just no goat trails. The trees are tighter, so make sure you have your hand guards or you will be doing stoppies all day (yes I did that).

I agree with TBS that if you have a smaller group in the trees the ride is better. Same goes for any ride.

Now who wants to hit the Royal Flush? Down, then Up! Anyone?........................

Let's go .... :devil:
