Redeemed my spot at the top of the kawie spot, mission accomplished :smirk:

Don't worry it won't be like that for long Mojave...

Packed silencer, got expansion plug for exhaust, and went to go get my shock charged. Guy at the ferd dealer said his manager wont be in on Saturday and he'll fill it for free :rocker:

Tried to pop the the dents out with mapp gas, didn't budge. So im taking it into school to use the oxy torches tomorrow. I figured i'd have to anyways, its a big ass dent

WOW good job that is a very good looking bike you got there!!:thumb: ya to bad the first time you wad your self up the bike wont look as good  like my CDA always says its not broke in tell it takes a soil sample!!

Well, i don't feel like posting the whole story about the shock but it has been the only thing holding me back for about 2 months, finally take it to get it filled and the car dealer is a retard and couldn't figure out how to fill it :picard:. So then the next time i could get a ride i took to to the biggest bikeshop/dealer around here and they said they didn't have one (double :picard: and :banghead:) and then they told me to go to another shop down the road so i went there and he needed to order another adapter because his was broke (words and emocons cannot describe me at this point) so i will see tomorrow if i can finally get out of this shock nightmere

Made alot of progress these last 2 days.

Week or two ago i popped out the dent's. Plug popped out once and made me about poop myself, took some drywall with it. Had to mess with getting the other end plugged forever. After the dent finally started to move it was one of the best feelings ever. actually polished out pretty good. Definitely doesn't look like factory but looks a whole lot better than it did and should run better now too.

Got my shock filled finally after being screwed over for 2 weeks by multiple places. Picked that up on Saturday, got home Sunday night and started to go to work. Put the shock, subbie and silencer on. Then i forgot to adjust the preload to about where i had it so it all had to come back off. After i got back to where is started i put the cdi and the airboot on.

Tonight i went to spray the rad guards because they looked like poop. Well i got them all sanded and primered and then as soon as i started painting the black i ran out :mmph:. So i just cleaned up the fender and put that on.

I have the seat foam on order and will hopefully be here Friday. Other than that, tires was the only other thing i wanted to do to this bike for this "rebuild". Those will have to wait till after my first race sadly as the racing season is almost here any my money is almost gone. But, she is looking really good and im so close now, just plastics and a seat cover away from a great rideing season! :ride:

You talking about your rear shock? Why would you have to remove anything to adjust the preload ring?

Looks like you're coming along nicely. :thumb:

Didn't HAVE to, but its a pain to even get a punch on my preload ring and it was all the way up. So it was a lot easier just to take the stuff off and turn it by hand
