No Shane and his brother have been hitting the Nationals as privateers these past few years. Shane actually finished Supercross 13th in points and is currently 26th in the 450 Outdoors series.

I was EXTREMELY lucky and got JB's number plate! aswell as some stickers off of of Ivan tedesco's bike. i went to back to the pits during the 450 moto 2 and saw Tyla Rattray's step dad peeling them off of his bike. i just said "hey can i have those" and he gave them to me.

after the race, my dad and i went back to the geico pits. the machanic was taking the bike apart. when he took the plate off, about 50 kids said "over here i want it" the machanic said "what was our result at vegas?" my dad thought fast and said "first" there was a kid next to me who was really disapointed he didnt get it, but i didnt feel sorry for him cus he already had a whole set of sighned plastics off of will hahn's bike lol.

You mean did I race on the ameture day on saturday? There is ameture racing on saturday, just on friday and sunday. and no i did not race it, from what i hear its pretty competitive

NO.... They did practice on the big track on Friday and Am race day was on Sunday.....and it totally sucked with delay after delay and most classes only ended up getting 1 moto

Why the delays? Track in bad shape (rain) or did the track crew not have their crap together?

there was 2 or 3 crashes with red flags but it was strange.....next race never seemed ready to drop the gate as soon as the race ended. Buds was my home track (1st race there in 1976) so I really wanted to race there again.....but I will never race Am day at a national again.

Just my opinion but.... I am getting the feeling that they dont want to have Am days with $160 camping /pit plus $50 per class sign up....seems like they are pricing it out of reach.
