Anyone down for a weight loss challenge?

I'd love to join you all in a weight loss challange however not working is really hard losing weight. When I went back to work after a few months of "retirement" I lost almost 50 lbs in 6 months by walking and not snacking. I'm trying to keep active (when not BSing on DBA) by doing yard work, etc but man that gets boring and old after a while. I have to figure I'm at a-round 280++ now and was somewhere around 240 when I lost my job...Mind you I was still too f'n fat at 240 butI felt good, clothes were loose, I could bend over to tie my shoes and got compliments from everyone!
My does this sound familiar. Stress does bad things.

Stress and boredom.......The way my mind is working is, I hate to get involved in something for fear of missing a phone call, etc. Sounds weak but that's how my mind's working at this time. If my wife (and this aint' gonna happen) tells me to go ahead and "be retired" I can start doing things to keep active without worrying/stressing.

How can you "retire"? Are you former law enforcement, fireman, etc.? If so, maybe you could retire and find some other pursuit to bring in a little extra money some other way.:thumb:

Actually, things are looking up, I have an in person interview with FMIC (Fender Music Instrument Corp) Thursday at 3:00.........Wooo f'n Hoooooooooo

Good luck there on the interview. But still how can you think retirement at 51? I'm just jealous.:thumb:
Thanks..............I hope I don't have to baffle em with BS...just dazzle em with my brilliance!!! :prof:

No harm in "thinking of it"...I'm sure you wished you were on several occasions...right?

FYI turning 52 on July 25th...

I think about it more often than you would know. But in my case, retirement would equal Bankruptcy and then some.:smirk:
