A stretched cable doesn’t make for a mushy clutch. Air in the line does.....
Can you tell me how one gets air in a cable driven clutch? :prof:
I know, I am just messing with you there.

I understand what he is saying tho, the clutch pull fades as the cable gets stretched, and may feel like it's mushy. :wiggle:

I was in the process of putting the thing together when I snapped the brake lever bolt. Said piss on it and went to figure out what is wrong with the 90 yz125 clutch instead. After that I got a new clutch for the 01.

Went to the hardware store to fabricate a brake lever bolt, put some oil and antifreeze in it and she goes like she should.
So now 6 months, one broken wrist, a new clutch cable, about $150.00, and probably a bent shift lever later and I'm back in business.
