250 1988 yz250 build

Yeah that's probably what I'm looking at. Bikes where everything has been touched completely. I might still do it anyways just because. I'll still make a good profit and it would be a lot easier to sell. Also I just want this thing to look good as new!

Think of it as a learning experience if you decide to do it, because some of the best restorations I ever saw just about paid the man who restored them "minimum wage", and those were never the first attemps
 
Remove swing arm bolt before motor to frame mounts. Seen to many people remove it last only to crack or break the case. You will need to pull the outer races on the steering head or the they will it PC it.

Yeah that's what I'm working on. I'm still in the exact same spot I was 3 hours ago because I've been trying to remove a screw that is now completely stripped in every direction......

When and where possible always spray lube 24-48 hours in advance! Or every time you go near it!:prof::smirk:

Easy out, left hand thread will probs round again with out some straight drilling out so maybe weld something to it to grip onto if you can! If you can't, walk away and ask someone to weld on to it and remove it before it really pisses you off!
