Other 1978 DT 175 Build Thread

that first bike thing is what makes a dust collector worth 18c's. if i ever finsish my 63 suzuki 80, i think i will have that much in it. (I never owned one, but had a sentimental attachment to two of them. one was the first bike i rode with a manual clutch and the other was one my brother inlaw bought after letting me ride that afore mentioned, when was a rental.
 
Stumbled onto your thread and DBA while researching my own project, a 1980 DT175. Looking forward to your updates as I try to muddle through mine. Thanks for posting your tire selection, I needed a good suggestion!

This thread hasn't been active for a couple years, but there is some good info to get you started, and if you have any questions or might need any help along while doing your old yami, there is a good knowledge base here as far as where to track down parts and whatever else you run into during your build.
