Sorry, I know what they are, just confused as to why you're putting some on. I honestly don't think I've ever seen any on a bike before.fork skins? seal savers? round neoprene tubes that you put on the forks to protect the sliders? did i use potato terminology?

Not Moose just plain old black ones, but they are identical.
they prevent dirt from getting into the seals since we all know the wipers do an AMAZING job.. And they also protect the sliders from rocks, since I don't have the plastic guards like most USD's have.Sorry, I know what they are, just confused as to why you're putting some on. I honestly don't think I've ever seen any on a bike before.
That's true more so with the short ones, 6" I think. I bought a set that covers my whole slider all the way up to the triple clamp.fork skins tend to trap dirt and grit.... they however keep the sticks and rocks out
Thanks a lot JeffWow good job bro! I just sat here and read your entire rebuild hahaha
