well its been a while, I havent really done a whole lot, I cleaned the 34mm carb the other day, and had a friend help me get the choke un-stuck. I also completely disassembled the set of 87 forks, with the impact hammer its super easy. So I think this weekend or next weekend I'm gonna pull the forks off my bike, drain them and get ready for complete disassembly of those. He said he will take both sets into the shop he works at, and clean both of them in a parts washer.

Hopefully by my spring break, march 12-16, I will have it fully reassembled and ready for my first ride this season.

well i finally took my forks apart, they basically fell apart after i got the caps and springs out, I guess I didn't have to remove the lower clickers on these forks :noidea: I wiped off the bushings they have almost NO wear, little scrapes that my nail won't even catch in, so I think in just going to change the seals and wiper and refill with 5w oil

Still ordering parts for my bike. Today I order 2 new OEM gaskets and 3 seals, next Friday I'm picking up a maxxis desert IT rear that i managed to talk the guy at the shop down from 110 to 85, it only to about 10 minutes of haggling. Then tomorrow I should be able to pick up some fork oil and reassemble my forks. :D SO CLOSE NOW!
