The Nobody Asked me or I must just be an ASS.

Ok,
I am up to my ears with my 18 year old son. I have basically had it with him. I know, I know, he is my son but he is a pain in the ":moon:".
Starts out with me texting him to let him know the weather is going to be in the upper 60s with 10mph "W" and me and Jr. Jr. and the two girls are going riding because I was not invited on the "other" ride because I must be an a$$. I had also texted my nephew because he said if and when I go riding let him know. He came in second place in the Sea Bass tournament 2 years ago and has no sponsor like the ass wipes that cheated him out of first place. Yep Cheated..But another story. So lets get this strait, I do love my son Thomas but man. he can be a ":moon:", oh I said that all ready. Those of you that have met him probably know what I mean. So to get this right my nephew is a Thomas as well, will go with T1 and T2, T1 being my nephew as he is the oldest out of 3 Thomas grandkids of my mothers. Yah, my dad died 34 years ago and his name....right....Thomas, so as good little children we named our boys after him. Mine is the only Palmer however. T2 shows up at the house and caught the last of the bike loading and asked if his buddy Cory could go. He was the kid that came out last year to the Tday ride with us, I said no problem, we will take the tail gate off of one truck and put the rail on it for the fourth bike. Well, T2 said no he wants to drive his truck but wants me to sport the gas, um, no, thats not going to happen. So Cory ends up not wanting to go, and T2 helped a little with loading the rest of the bikes. I said go get the rest of your stuff together we are leaving @ 7am when T1 shows up. T2 ends up saying :finger: and heads down town to his girls house. Pfft, what ever! I said I'll just pull the bike he rides out in the morning if he doesn't come home.
So we had the trucks loaded and ready to go.

Sunday AM @ 6 I roll around the rooms telling the kids to get up. T2 on the other hand stays in bed and still needed to get his gear together as we have packed all the hydration packs but fell short one, but thats ok, cool day and we have a backpack with water bottles just no camelback hose type for the 6th rider. Well after the 3rd time I was called a couple of choice words and T2 finally got out to the shop to put his gear together and load it in the truck. It was now 6:30 so I asked him to call his nephew to see where he was. T2 comes out and tells me T1 is on the freeway on his way and then goes right back to his room to bed. Meanwhile me and the other three kids are talking about the day events and drinking coffee. T1 showed up and and we were walking out the door when T2 tells me I am an AHole because we didn't save him any coffee, I am like so we make another batch no problem and he bitches he's over it. Mom comes out of her computer room and said just leave him behind. I reminder her then he will just be home with you. She changed her mind real quick. :smirk:
To be continued:

So my oldest daughter owns one truck and mine is the other. We go 3 and 3 for more room and I said you take your brother T2 and sister, I'll take jr. jr. and the nephew T1. :naughty: Rock, paper, scissors and I loose 2 out of three. Dam it! He is just a pain in the ":moon:" but I said that once or twice right? He also smells like..well jr. jr. put it best..Smells like he partied all night drinking and smoking both types of tobaccos, vomited on himself, stepped in dog crap, rolled around on horse apples and had no bath for 5 + days... Jr. jr just about summed it up. :prof:
So we get on the road and I have his window cracked to release some of the stench and he bitches, so I roll it up and crack the pass behind him as jr. jr. is behind me.
Silverado Canyon Rd. where I live.

Just paid the toll and my daughter was faster. :blah: :blah: :blah: I think she got the better co-pilot that was able to pull 3 bucks because I had to get my own.

Freeway was clear as could be all the way up, and others had the same idea of a good ride. See that white truck up in front to the left? :ride:

Warming up, more to follow:

We always stop for a quick bite and I never bring the camera for that. T2 is still being a complete and udder ":moon:" but at least I can tune him out by playing my music. he puts in the skull candy and listens to his droid. I always stage off of Stoddard 4 miles east of Dale Evans. This is the most westerly of the Stoddard OHV area. I don't take a bunch of pictures because I am lazy and/or having way to much fun so I have maybe 10 or so more riding and such I think but here we go.
Gear on and ready to go.

I learned this from Tim:

More to come, I just got a call to go pick up one of my kids.

It's like a reality tv show on my computer. I think it should be called "Keeping up with the Palmers." A little more spice with the photos, you know, kind of like Jr. and Sr. on American Chopper.
Good stuff, I await for the next episode.

You are right!

Ok, I am back, and am glad you are all enjoying this as Agent2 has put it, so I will keep the tape rolling.
So, I had to pick up one of my daughters from my Toyota mechanics house, he is going to drive her car to work tomorrow to do the brakes. Man I love knowing him. Even if he is a Quadtard :smirk: he used to race but at his tender age of 51 he likes riding a couch. He has a place in Lancaster that we have ridden out of before and discussed our next trip to be soon, like the week after Tday. Ok, back to the RR sitcom...
We were going to do our south loop through the quarry but alas, new fence and signs went in and I told them all to turn around. These are my two girls taking in the arm swinging to turn around. They decided to get a drink too.

This is T2 scoping the new direction.
DSC07579.jpg

And T1 seeing if he can find a better way.
DSC07580.jpg

Once they realized I left the seen they looked for me over on another hill and came looking. T1 did a slow motion gold search and I had the camera out. :smirk:
DSC07581.jpg

Jr. jr. caught up to the new location.
DSC07582.jpg

And soon the youngest girl turn in a fast time as well.
DSC07583.jpg

To my surprise my oldest daughter turned in the slowest time but I have to add, it is because she is wearing the backpack without the bladder and must remove a bottle to get a drink.
DSC07584.jpg

We soon were heading to the main staging area off Hodge road and I was thinking about going over and writing a nasty note on a couple of gentelmens trucks because I knew they had staged out by the 15 frwy., :naughty: but I really am a nice guy, (A-hole is just a stage name :prof:)
Some random photos: T2

Look pops no feet.
DSC07586.jpg

Here comes the girls, the youngest stalled out at the top of the hill so I waited patiently father like.
DSC07587.jpg

Now what is really funny is that T1 and T2 are right next to me and I say and point, "go over to that next hill, do that hill climb and meet me at the top, I'll tell the girls to go to the main staging are by the little hill climb tom fooleries we do." Well the funny thing is T2 said to T1, "ok, I'll race you over there and meet you at the top" and they took off while I shot another photo or two.

Younger landing by dad.

And older telling me with a thumbs up and ear to ear grin.. Ready for more.. :thumb:

More to follow:

So I didn't get the camera out fast enough plus they were to far away, but after I told the girls what we were going to do I see T2 laying on the hill climb trail and T1 using him as traction . goes to show, the turtle and the hare you might get there faster but don't get caught napping. :P Well by the time I get over there he is now off and running again so I start my climb only to find T2 laying on the ground again but this time it don't look good as he is holding his junk and screaming. Well it turns out a little bolder pitched him off the trail and he clapped his nut sack against the tank. Couldn't of happened to a nicer kid. Do you think he was being taught a lesson that he needed to be a little more humble and not think he is the shit. Oh, did I tell you he acted like a ":moon:" when I pulled the camera out, picked up a rock and threatened me? Well, being the kind, loving, forgiving father that I am I put the camera away and didn't take his picture of pain. However I would like to add that this was crash two of four for the day and three times on the same knee.
Here is Jr. Jr. climbing a little hill. Not sure if photo bucket video works.

After that we headed for the /X for lunch, it was 12:15 and something was growling. This is the girls heading up from main staging to the /X.
