Ok guys, I've taken everything you've said into consideration, I will go out and buy a bike, I will pick my favorite color (team green:thumb:), I'll have my suspention worked for my weight, I'll make the investment in proper gear (already got my gloves 'yaay'), I'll stop asking dumb questions like "Which bike has a better bottom end??", yup I agree like with most things it's more the user than the tool, I will upload pics and vids when I can, I'l also watch out for that fast 85 kid when I get to my local track :thumb:. I'll probably be getting my bike late this year so when I do, I'll let you guys know. Thanks for all the input people :thumb:!
:prof: There are no dumb questions.

The reason we're telling you to just go buy a bike is because after you start riding you'll realize that a lot of the stuff doesn't really matter. And the stuff you might've thought didn't matter, actually does. :thumb:

IMO gear selection is more important, feel free to create a thread on that if you need to. However be warned that everyone has their own brand loyalty.

BTW Good choice on the Team Green. :rocker:

FYI when I got my first bike I did a lot of research on the different brands etc. Only to end up picking my favorite color (Kawi or Suzuki), Green won.

Yes true, I can imagine, that acctually it doesn't matter what brand it is, I'd just be happy to be on a bike ! Cause whatever it is it's gonna be fun :thumb:. But all the better if it just plain looks awesome like the Kawi :smirk:. But what I can imagine is that I would care if my feet hurt from crappy boots or my brains are falling out cos i took a fall with a cheap helmet..
Haha yeah go Kawi :ride:
Some quite diverse tracks here in southwest England, from flatter stuff to a whole valley turned into a race course ! :ride:

 Yup don't skimp on gear, it's only your life we're talking about. :thumb:

 I think I wear pretty close to $2k worth of gear.

 uhhh I'll blow my knee out first
If I remember right the surgery on one of my knees was $11k and the other was $13k. So I'll spend the $600 now for added insurance on the little stuff (ie. foot/leg grabs a rut in a corner).

I'm pretty confidant that they've helped me already, due to how I landed and the bruises I got. :thumb:

Wow, Fox? Shift?
Yeah one of my dreams is to visit the US and find the nice tracks :thumb:! Any recomendations for good states or areas for MX tracks? Of course I'd like to go see Budds Creek! Yeah if you come over here go to Southwest England, especially Devon! The middlands and Wales are good for MX too. I can't believe I'm saying this, but for some tricky 'different' tracks go to France. But down here in Devon you get a great variety like I said earlier on. Seriously, one of my local tracks is both sides of a valley, with a mud bridge to get over the river !:ride:
