I never saw it coming. My usual crashes have an eternal .5 second to contemplate the hit, try and save it, but this was just lights out. The thing is, the first time I committed to the whoops was almost a zen moment, I went through no problem and howled I got this shit! Second time around, dirt nap. The only thing worse than getting old is dying young.wow. I bet that was a big slam.

Thanks, its been a blast, its on its 3rd rework since i first built it, over 200 hours of moving dirt with a borrowed skid steer that is beond its last leg and i started with flat ground all the dirt is what was there just had to dig down 30" everywhere to make everything, just seen the last rework was uploaded to google earth recently. Alot better for me and my kids to ride here than the local track that has dumb hours and is only open 1 day of the week.

Last 2 new bikes I bought have made me a liar.Not a dirt bike; but I bought a ‘75 KZ900 Z1-B that was 6 months old for $1800, rode it daily only doing maintenance on it, and sold it for $1600 6 years later (still kick myself for selling).
I know - I bought my 1988 KX500 brand new for $4K out the door. I just rode faster that year, so in 89, the next bike was free.$13000
I faced a really hard reality, as much as I miss the glitz and the glam, the pushing my limit, thats not where my future is at 35.
Ive ridden 350's and I genuinely feel like if you had to pick a bike to do it all budget unlimited, its the bike to have and KTM throws enough at the factory edition that you couldn't build the standard model to that level and be ahead money wise. But, there is a thread here called van says, and a yz250x is half the price of that ktm, I'm not in it to do the impossible anymore. I can, relatively in shape and in focus, do more with a yz250 than most can with that ktm. and it *gulp* is just for fun at this point. So as Mechanic Van says, a yz250, some pre mixed fuel, an f250 with a topped off 48 gallon tank, and lets go have some fun, a 5th is as fun as a 1st at this point in my life. Besides, when I stepped away close to in my prime I did so for a reason, and their are a few females that match the requirements for that reason atm. Real life over fast racer dude
