I never saw it coming. My usual crashes have an eternal .5 second to contemplate the hit, try and save it, but this was just lights out. The thing is, the first time I committed to the whoops was almost a zen moment, I went through no problem and howled I got this shit! Second time around, dirt nap. The only thing worse than getting old is dying young.

I remember that feeling happening back when I used to mountain bike, (aka, 4-7 years ago in my very early teens). I was hitting a jump at top speed and hit it wrong, It felt like time slowed down as I neared the ground.
