The right turn off of 395 I believe is called Searles Station Rd.....
Isn't the exit off of 395 actually Trona then turn right onto Searles once you get over the tracks??? If I remember correctly I couldn't find Searles last year because of this.
I am still trying to make it up there but it may be for less number of days. Still waiting for the word. The right turn off of 395 I believe is called Searles Station Rd.
Well here we are the weekend before blast off. Hope everybody is looking forward to it, even the yahoos going to OW. Weather is looking pretty spectacular even for the high dez group. Happy Tday to all.

I Hear that, I just have been out there so many times over the last 80 years that I just let the truck drive. There is a sign indicating that the road takes you to Trona but the actual name of the paved road is Searles Station Cutoff. This road connects to Trona Road. The dirt road that you make a right onto after crossing the tracks is Searles Station Road. It's all too confusing for me also, so this year I'm heading down to OW.

Rolls it has been a long time, need to hook up for a ride soon.
