What did you do to your car/truck today?

Took her on my old route to the freeway that I haven't taken since I got this job 3 years ago... now I know why I decided not to go that way anymore. the number of vehicles has iquadrupled, plus I had to ask myself, even though it may have cut off 10 minutes from my usual drive, WHAT'S THE HURRY? I'm on my way TO work! :loco:

Back to the current route... :thumb:

Are air intakes like that smog legal?
The K@N I have on my Chevy 1/2T wasn't when I first got it but K&N eventually got it CARB approved and then sent me the steeker to afix to the housing. I just keep it in my glove box. I offered to show the smog guy when I had it smogged this year for the first time. He didn't care. It's just the visual portion anyway.

Too bad I couldn't put it on a new bike and get it dual sported.

Over the last few years the paint on my 93 F150 has started peeling off the hood. Guess it's painted a bit differently than the rest of the vehicle as it's not happening anywhere than the hood. Since the truck is only worth about $2k a "real" paint job would not really make sense economically. I tried some of the Duplicolor touch up paint, but it's just not the right color. Perhaps it matched the paint 20 years ago, but not now.

The truck is white so I just picked up some low gloss rattle can. Looks so much better now.

So after what happened in my above post, my Jeep wouldn't run so it had to be towed home. I just went outside and sprayed carb cleaner in it and it fired up. Looks like it sitting on the gas tank did some harm
