What did you do to your bike today?

I tore apart the carb on the 85 one more time.....changed the jetting, lowered the clip, checked the reeds, put it back together, kicked it, cursed it. Then drank beer.

Your problem was the order you went about things.:naughty: If you start with the beer first, everything else would go much smoother.

Not tellin, just sayin.:prof:

i rejeted the bike, the 370 main i bought broke in half when installing:foul:, but it turned out i didnt need it after testing it with the new 30 pilot jet, the bike is super super snappy now, new handlebars look great and the barkbusters fit better on them, new tire will be on the bike tommorow, thing is meaty

That only took two months to talk you into doing and probably only took 10 minutes to do

 I didn't even know that you could break a main jet in half.

I am about ready to.

The 85 is my son's old bike. Can't sell it because I can't get rid of a bog. Got a whole book on the different jetting combos I've tried, going to try switching carbs out with the lady's 85 and see what that does. Not today.

On a bright note, got a new exhaust (at cost:thumb:) for the 300 because I had broke the innards of the old one from tail stands or something:devil:

haha actualy i can rejet it now without even taking the carb out, i just turn it about 1/4th clockwise and take off the bottom off the bowl and put new jets in,but bottom of bowl back on, turn 1/4th counterclockwise, tighten clamps, and we are good to go
