To crash or not to crash....that is the question

noun
noun: crash; plural noun: crashes
  1. 1.
a violent collision, typically of one vehicle with another or with an obstacle.

the ground is an obstacle

I agree with both of you, but I like to reserve the word crash for the nasty ones....the ones you remember. I broke a rib while going down one time, but I didn't call it a crash. now almost anything related to going down on a jump is probably a crash.

I don't think I have ever used the word "crash" to describe a dirt nap. I usually call it a fall. As defined previously crashing is what happens when you CRASH into something. If you're riding on something and suddenly you're on the ground you FELL off.

That I can remember, I've only crashed once! Into a grizzly 4 wheeler and blew out my left knee by wrapping it around the pro tapper bar and kicking myself in the face!
However I've prob had 1000 get offs, and 15 dirt naps,"which by the way is being knocked unconscious!"
