So I ended up taking last night off and watched some movies, have to take a break from you knuckleheads every once in awhile.
Ok so I finally watched "The Hurt Locker". I'm really into war type movies and the reason I hadn't watched this movie before (it was released in 2008) is because I was under the impression it was like Jarhead (<-- Which completely and utterly SUCKED). But was I ever surprised, the movie is a 2 hour 11 minute pure adrenaline rush. I'd have to say that probably 90% of the movie takes place out in the field.
The movie is basically about a 3 man EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Team and you're just along for the ride. The camera shooting style makes it feel like you're actually there and the sound track, well I'm trying to remember here but I don't think there was any music, just real background noise.
The only thing I didn't really like is for some reason they make the regular infantry look stupid, not sure why.
Here's a couple clips and pictures.
