Welp, i decided that im gonna start a new little project now that my bike is about done. This is my 79 xl75 (pimpin' right?). It was my second bike ever and i only rode it one summer before it died, it has been collecting dust in the corner of my dads basement ever since. As of right now, it needs a TON of tlc and a stator, possibly flywheel too. Im just gonna work on this one real slow, when im bored and such. Not planning on having it done anytime soon. Anyways, just thought i'd share.

Oh, btw, this mean's i have a older bike than hawk now :shocked:

finally got some "extra" cash. the alternator assembly (stator) is discountiued and mine trashed. There are 2 on ebay but 35 year old electrical parts scare me a little bit. Should i try to get it rewound? Or can any of you gurus find me a NOS one someone had lying around?
