When I was a kid we rode all the local farms and roads connecting themwe a had the cops after us and obviously could never catch us. One cop thought he was slick, went out and got a dirt bike to try to catch us. Needless to say he didn't know the trails nor how to ride. He gave that up soon enough. :kidsdonttrythisathome:
That's too funny. Times have changed. Back in the day (early 80's) we used to ride at the American River
on our little YZ80's every day. We had tracks everywhere with levee jumps etc.. and the Levee Patrols would
come along in their Chevy Blazers but didn't have a chance in hell of catching us. Next thing we knew they were
showing up on XL250's with big ol' "Sheriff" stickers on the tanks. They still couldn't catch us. We joked about
the fact that they went out and got Enduro cop bikes just to try and catch us. Who knows if we were the reason
or just kids like us all up and down the river.... but what the hell, we were young and dumb and fearless.
