Hey Sparky.....maybe instead of triple checking the case dowels you shoulda just double checked them and then added that other unused check to double check the cylinder base dowels.

At any rate I get a laugh out of it. His HS shop teacher stopped by to visit for a bit and told him he should trade his noisy power stroke for a nice and quiet duramax. As the shop teacher left I heard my dad murmur fuck you and your duramax

Bingo. This guy is on his mid 70's now. Master gd eq mech. Held every rating there was for aircraft mechanics and maintenance. He just laughs and drives his 72. (Still looks about three years old)
