Just know that it's called a steering head and the triples are often called stocks. -M33

Yeah I will explain. I removed the forks and clamps and there are no bearings in there. There was a bolt and chamfered washer holding the top clamp on and that's it. There's no bearing race!! I'm just wondering what I need!

I've got a Haynes but it doesn't show a break down like that! ! It seems I have a hell of a lot of parts missing! !
Yeah it does. I often use parts schematics like the one above to help decipher whacked assemblies.
Also what year bike is this? The schematic above is for a 1999
My bike is a 1991.
